I was in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend for my brother’s graduation. One of the best parts of the trip is that my mom & I are sharing a hotel room, and we get to talk girl-talk and fashion ALL WEEKEND long. Of course, we had to do a little shopping in the Short North Arts district of Columbus. I had the perfect outfit for shopping & staying cool in this heat:
Here I am with my brother:
We were having such a blast, we only stopped to take a few quick pics!
I love this little tie-dye dress. The shape is just so beautiful and would flatter just about any shape or size. It’s comfy and beautiful. It’s easy, and when you walk, the long back swings around making you feel like you’re walking the New York runway with every step. And it’s 100% soft, beautiful silk!
If you’re ever in the Columbus area, swing by the Short North area. Several blocks of GREAT shopping, including several awesome boutiques (my favorite was High Street Denim), antique/vintage stores (my favorite was Mary Catherine’s Antique’s – where there was a whole case of vintage Chanel jewelry – OH MY!), great places to eat (try Tasi’s Deli – which is in the back alley and TOTALLY worth trying to find, Northstar Grill – always busy and worth the wait, and my FAVE, Jeni’s ice cream – it’s SOOOO good, people from all over the country get their favorites SHIPPED to them!!
What I’m Wearing:
Chaser Tie-Dye Hi-Lo dress // Michael Kors handbag similar here and here // Crown Vintage Abigail wedge sandals in cognac // Michael Kors White Polyurethane and Goldtone Mixed Metal watch // Ethic stretch-beaded bracelet similar here // House of Harlow 1960 14KT Gold Textured Wrap Ring // CC SKYE “Fool’s Gold” 18K gold ring // vintage gold cuff // vintage gold locket //
Stay Cool Lovecats!
PS – I’m TOTALLY bananas over this Chaser Hi-Lo Silk dress!!
