This past weekend, my brother’s graduation event was a blast. Both mom & I were prouder than proud. There were several times during the evening where one or both of us had tears in our eyes. So, what to wear to such a great event? I chose to wear my new Chaser maxi-dress in lilac. And looking at the pics, I just noticed that my brother & I sort of matched – kind of like when TV news anchors coordinate their outfits:

The Chaser dress is from the 2012 Summer Collection, and just hitting stores now. So if it’s not at your local boutique or online shop – check back and ask them about it! Mine was purchased in Columbus, OH at a boutique called High Street Denim - they carry more than just denim – lots of cute dresses too! I’ve linked to another online boutique above, in case you’re not able to make it to High Street Denim. I normally wear a size Small in Chaser, but the dress ended up fitting perfectly as an XS. I’m sure the Small would have fit well too, but they were already out of the Smalls. The dress is SUPER comfy – made of soft jersey material that flows just perfectly. The Chaser website calls the color “blush” but it’s more of a lovely light lilac color.
