With the heat and humidity, all I can think about is ice cream, shaved ice, and sorbet! Yesterday’s outfit of the day reflected that:
I had client meetings around town. Since I would be in and out of my car all day, I needed an outfit that would stay cool, yet still be put-together and work appropriate. This outfit did just the trick!
I’ve always had a hard time trying to figure out what to do with these drape front tops. Wearing a tank top underneath just made it a little too bulky. Wearing just a bra would make it too revealing, and inappropriate for meeting with clients. When I found this eyelet bandeau top in this sorbet color, it was EXACTLY what the drape front needed to tie together the whole look.
And of course the deets:
These little Sam Edelman shoes are one of the most comfortable heeled sandals I have! A great print fabric layered on top of soft leather, and on a sturdy chunky heel with GREAT gold details. I don’t know what the feel is made of, but it feels like it has some extra cushioning. I wish all of my shoes were this cute and felt this comfortable!
What I’m Wearing:
(old) J Brand Mid-Rise super stretchy Cropped Skinny Jeans in white similar here // Remain draped front top similar here // Cosabella Eyelet Bandeau similar here // woven leather belt // (old) Sam Edelman sandals // White envelope wrist clutch from H & M similar here and here // Necklace by Jill Platner from Gallery 360 // (old) silver & coral drop earrings // Various vintage bracelets // Michael Kors White Polyurethane and Goldtone Mixed Metal watch //
Time for some Orange Sorbet!
