Hubby & I LOVE movies & tv shows. We both LOVE action, spy, sci-fi, comedies, and the occasional romance aka chick-flick. The only thing we both avoid – horror.
So dinner and a movie. Calls for something comfortable and warm – most movie theaters tend to be on the chilly side! I’ve got just the thing: A simple graphic T-shirt, comfy stretchy, skinny jeans, and a denim jacket for the chilly air conditioning!
I love the denim jacket, which I found at a thrift store. It’s a vintage denim jacket by Liz Clairborne – circa late 80’s early 90’s – in an XL sizing. You don’t need to buy a “boyfriend” sized jacket – just buy a jacket that 2-4 sizes bigger than you normal size. I wished I took a picture with the jacket on, but the weather was just too warm outside for that!
And, since it’s hot outside, this simple pairing is perfect for the weather we’re experiencing!
We didn’t go to many movies as a kid, there were just too many of us (7 kids in my family) – which can get very expensive for a modest family. As an adult, it’s a small luxury that I thoroughly enjoy, one which I am always grateful to be able to experience. Can you tell I was excited to go see a movie?
And the DEETS! The DEETS:
Hair in a bun, silver mesh earrings & my favorite oversized sunnies:
Silver & red accents in the jewelry, and a cobalt blue envelop clutch for all my little accessories!
And I LOVE LOVE LOVE these little red & silver shoes. So amazingly cute, and just as amazingly comfortable!
