Yesterday was a work-from-home day – which are my FAVE kind of days. When working from home, I usually walk to the Kowalski’s Market (local grocery store), which is only 3 blocks away, pick up a french baguette, some cheese, and pate, and VOILE – my favorite lunch, on the patio, with my beautiful poochie, Jazz.
Yesterday, my poochie was more interested in the squirrels than me!
A nice summery day, calls for a nice summery skirt!
I LOVE the Desigual brand – they have some of the funnest prints! And this skirt, not a traditional mini skirt in that it’s not short AND tight – it’s short & flowy & CUTE! AND, it has POCKETS!
In Minneapolis, Local Motion Boutique in Uptown has a GREAT selection of Desigual clothing, which is where I purchased this skirt last year.
And the fact that the pattern goes all the way around, with little pops of color and neon all over – make it simply devine!
And the DEETS!
The turquoise-etched cuff bracelet is one of my FAVORITE pieces from M.Bridget Designs!
I kept the shoes simple & comfy – perfect for walking to the store. They’re Bjorn’s, which are known for comfort!
My favorite accessories in this outfit include:
Clutch: Forever21 – so Tory Burch-ish!
Sunglasses: LOVE these glittery Vintage Riviera sunnies! Deadstock (you know, vintage, but never worn) – these were purchased from June Resale in Uptown Minneapolis – she has a few more pairs of Vintage Riviera deadstock – all equally eccentric, cute, original, LOVELY!
Cuff Bracelet: Lovely etched turquoise cuff by M.Bridget Designs!
What I’m Wearing:
Skirt: Desigual purchased from Local Motion
Watch: Michael Kors
Sunnies: Riviera purchased from June Resale
Neon doesn’t have to be overwhelming. When it’s snuck into a pattern like this, it can be quite “understated” in it’s neon factor, but still pack quite a punch!
