It was a little brisk outside yesterday – perfect time to break in my new corduroy jeans & cashmere sweater!
I was looking for an affordable, oversized, but simple sweater. You’d think that would be relatively easy to find, but it wasn’t. And then, I found it! At Nordstrom Rack, in the MEN’s department. The brand is something I’ve never heard of, “Original Impermeable Weatherproof Vintage” in a cotton cashmere. Quite a mouthful, but absolutely worth the trouble saying it!
And what about these amazing Hudson mid-rise super skinny corduroy jeans in their purple GALAXY print? I’m mesmerized by this print! Biddy from Covered Boutique in Uptown contacted me to let me know that she had something in the store that I HAD to see. Of course, she was so right! Thanks Biddy!

I LOVE these Dolce Vita suede wedge booties! They’re from last year but still in heavy rotation. Gives me the height I need with sleek, simple lines!

I can’t believe those jeans are corduroys, that pretty galaxy print really hides it. but i love a texture in an outfit, so it’s super cute! and i love shopping in the men’s section- their sweaters are the besttt
It’s a “baby corduroy” which makes the cords much smaller and so comfy! I just started looking in the men’s section when I couldn’t find a woman’s sweater that I wanted!
