OK – so I mentioned that I SQUEALED.OUT.LOUD.IN.PUBLIC. in my last post. The occasion? I had just tried on these glorious Miu Miu Trompe-d’Loeil curved heel pumps at June Resale Boutique in Uptown Minneapolis – AND.THEY.FIT.ME.PERFECTLY. Breath in. Breath out.
I thought I was the only one who SQUEALS.IN.PUBLIC. over SHOES, but so many people left me comments on the last post, that they have also actually SQUEALED.IN.PUBLIC. – over SHOES, JEWELRY, CLOTHES, etc. Hallelujah – I have found my peeps. You people truly understand me.
The exciting news is that one of my favorite local designers, Emma Berg, is having a Trunk Show at June Boutique, one of my favorite boutiques.
Go ahead. You can SQUEAL altogether now. And you’re welcome.
It’s this Friday, October 5th from 5:00PM – 8:00PM. June is located at 3406 Lyndale Ave South in Uptown Minneapolis. I am TOTALLY there. We get to shop the Emma Berg Fall 2012 collection, Que Sera Sera! Here’s a little sneak peak of what the collection has to offer:
Emma Berg’s Fall 2012 collection, Que Sera Sera, is comprised of various wools, with silk, fringe, and fur accented throughout. It brings a surprising palette of color to the fall wardrobe and contains skirts, work appropriate dresses and fun party dresses.
And the best part? Emma Berg herself, will be there to answer your questions, give styling tips regarding her collection, and she is making appointments for future commissions!
And of course, you will be surrounded by designer goods to your heart’s content, carefully curated by Daune, the owner of June. Believe me, last Sunday was not the first time I squealed in public. Here’s a small sampling of what’s in the store, call JUNE for prices!

How many squeals is that already? And we haven’t even gotten to the shoes…
