Somedays, I just want to wear a blanket. Lucky for me, I actually have something that fits the bill! This Wooden Ships by Paola Buendia brand poncho/shawl is alike a big comfy blanket, except it’s got a hood and pockets!
I wore this outfit shopping on Saturday. I paired the Wooden Ships blanket/shawl/poncho with a Show Me Your Mumu top in a tie-die pattern and cute gray Hudson skinny jeans. The outfit is comfy, cute, warm, and easy to put on and take off without being too fussy!

I’m just LOVING the Stella & Dot Wesley pendent! It’s reminds me of Fleur De Lis design, but with cubic zirconia accents! I’ve been wearing this necklace dressed up, dressed down, and every where in between – it’s so versatile!

Naaa … not just a blanket. So pretty and …. approachable! I have been known to shoot my mouth off and declare that shawls are elderly looking. And sometimes they are, but not this one and not on you. I’ve bought two ponchos this fall, and from you I’ve learned that I should try them with a flowing blouse or silky top … contrast! Thanks!

BUT, they’re so easy to wear and so comfy & warm, I HAD to find a way to mix it without looking to “elderly” – so adding fun textures and layering was a PERFECT solution!
